Critical
Incident Stress Debriefing - Trauma Response
|
Sheehan Brooke provide Critical
Incident Stress Debriefing through its AlphaCare programme to Health
Authorities, Organisations and Companies following a major Incident.
A Debrief normally takes place at company premises or at the scene
of the incident.

Following events such as these, there
are likely to be psychological consequences for those who have been

and effective support.

support within 48 hrs of the incident throughout the UK. This will
include:
|
 |
- The normalisation of traumatic symptoms through education.
- The opportunity to talk in detail about the experience thus
reducing harmful stress.
- Assisted re-entry in to the work environment.
- Identification of those individual needing further assistance
|
|
Debriefing may be carried out with groups or
individuals. All Debriefers are professionally qualified and belong
to NACID (National Association of Critical Incident Debriefers) of
