Sheehan Brooke provide Critical Incident Stress Debriefing through its AlphaCare programme to Health Authorities, Organisations and Companies following a major Incident. A Debrief normally takes place at company premises or at the scene of the incident.

A Critical Incident may be described as an event that may either overwhelm individuals or place them under a high degree of stress. Such situations include Armed Robbery, Explosions, Rail Crashes , Sudden death, ETC...

  • The normalisation of traumatic symptoms through education.
  • The opportunity to talk in detail about the experience thus reducing harmful stress.
  • Assisted re-entry in to the work environment.
